The table below lists the various courses offered at Indiana University that include Social Informatics content. To request that a course be added to this list, please send an email to the RKCSI Webmaster.
Indiana University also offers a Ph.D. minor in Social Informatics. The minor requires completion of 12 credit hours outside the student’s home department (3 foundational and 9 elective credit hours). Courses with “Core” in the “Ph.D. Minor” column in the table below serve as foundational classes for the minor. Courses with a “Y” in the “Ph.D. Minor” column may be taken as electives to satisfy the requirements of the Ph.D. minor in Social Informatics. Please note that some of these courses may be offered once a year or every three semesters, and students are advised to check with the department or school for scheduled course offerings.
