Student Opportunities
An initial Student Call-Out was held at Indiana University on Nov. 2nd, 2007, in which twenty (20) students from six (6) different departments on the Indiana University Bloomington campus participated. Building on this, we plan to use this portion of the website to support the development of a community of students worldwide who are interested in Social Informatics (SI). All interested students are encouraged to become involved. Contact the RKCSI Webmaster for further information.
Opportunities for student involvement include:
- Joining the Student Mailing List
- Becoming a Student Fellow
- Adding your information to the People Worldwide page
- Attending SI Student Events, including scheduled student discussions with the RKCSI Speakers
- Contributing to the RKCSI Working Papers
- Taking SI courses at Indiana or elsewhere
- Participating in the RKCSI Dissertation Support Group
- Participating in Per Arne Godejord’s Social Informatics Blog
- Contributing to a Wiki (under development)
